Sunday Obsessions

Two websites that have me hooked: 

I just came across fab.com
I may be extremely late to this party? 
and I have already found so many cute things
that I have never seen anywhere else.

The latest obsessions: 


Considering I spilled an entirely pan of cake batter all over the kitchen counter last night, 
I NEED THIS. 

We collect all of our corks, 
and we write the date or what the occasion is on a lot of them.
example of what the Sears Tower the man friend made 2 years ago:
we don’t drink a lot. at all. promise. 

They have a ton of different large and small cork pieces that are unlike anything I have ever seen. 
How fun would a cork be that everyone can write on when they come over?!

They print your instagrams on wood or acrylic and turnthem into amazing pieces of art.

Friday Randoms

random thoughts for the week: 

I found notecards in my favorite phrase.
I need to order these immediately! 

Mindy Weiss (wedding planner to the stars) 
had her son’s wedding on Style Me Pretty this week. 
 um. 
I’m guessing the bride had no say whatsoever.
Not that it would be a complaint with her as your mother in law planning it.

A lace top that would work in winter & summer.
Plus, that color is unbeliavable.

I had dinner with girlfriends last night
and my friend made Homemade Motza Ball Soup. 
It was unreal.
And then she told me the process…. and I will definitely never be making it myself. 

I discovered a ton of Tracy Anderson’s workouts on YouTube.

Considering how much her DVD’s cost, and how amazing (i.e. how badly you want to kill yourself 20 minutes in) they are, this is incredible. 

Maybe then this will fit by summer
because I am in looooove.

I have an extremely low key weekend.
Dinner tonight, and then hitting the books.  
National Board exam in one month.
the next 28 days will be a little bit like this.

Who hired Brandi as a fashion correspondent for the Oscars? 
I think her dress alone proved they are legally insane for that decision. 

But the worst fashion decision of the week: 
Bahahaha.

maybe we’ll pretend I decided to be positive and supportive this week and so I didn’t have as much bitching and shit talking to do?

Wishlist Wednesday

I know I have posted like 3 versions of this dress, but I am in love with the Opening Ceremony one and love when I find it in an under $100 version.  
The cutouts are perfect!

the snowy weather is making these sound like heaven.  they’d be perfect inside my boots, or having a clueless moment with a skirt or dress. 


splendid makes the most comfortable clothes, and this is the tank top that would be on constant rotation in my closet.

about as far into the “cool” zone as I could go, but with skinny jeans and heels you could change the look entirely.

Weekend Recap + Monogram Monday

I hope you all had a great weekend! 
I had a lot of time with girlfriends, a wedding, and of course the Oscars!

Sunday we woke up early (accidentally.  ugh.) with pounding headaches, and crashed on the Couch to watch Argo.  So glad I finally got to see it – I couldn’t believe how incredible it was. 
And is it just me or did Ben Affleck look really young (in a good way) in the movie? Oh, and hot…. I dig the long hair and scruffy 70’s look.  

And of course watched the Oscars with Taco Night a little early this week to celebrate
scary story:

“huh.  I didn’t even know she could sing.”
good lord. 
  
For today’s Monogrammed Monday: 

C. Wonder’s Flash Sale was too good to pass up.  I got a pair of Cashmere Monogrammed Gloves for $19.  I’m in love. 
they even have the little iPhone fingers too. 

I also finally bought a computer case – navy, adorable, and under $20 as well.  

talk about an amazing sale!
