:: RHONY Trailer ::

:: The Bachelor ::
We went from half an episode last week to 3 hours this week. But we are finally down to only one more week of Nick – PRAISE THE LORD. We start this week waking up from Nick + Raven’s overnight. We are immediately met with a montage of Raven skipping around town after their overnight date….

implying the night before fulfilled her premonition that (to be read in Raven’s strong accent) “tonight’s the night!” and her oversharing from last week. UGH. Raven stop! Please!

Then we have Vanessa and Nick’s overnight date and she grills him with questions and concerns while Nick continues a season of mumbling incoherently and managing to go week after week without really saying anything. In the morning they are practically canoodling naked. I mean, really, are they? Does she have clothes on? Because it doesn’t look like it! Put a tank top on, did you not know that was the appropriate thing to do when cameras and producers and a bunch of people come in the room? What is your family that you are so concerned about going to think about this!? What will they say about this at the next mandatory Sunday brunch?!

Rachel + Nick have their date and overnight and we all are just counting the minutes until she can get away from him and FINALLY tonight was the night! Adios and on to better things Rachel!

I also love that she finally left because it was really annoying the heck out of me that we knew about someone being the Bachelorette for weeks while they are still on the show, but I’m excited for the end of Nick and beginning of The Bachelorette!

Then we go on to the Women Tell All for 2 more hours of all of this. I am exhausted. (as I said last week, why did I watch this season? why? WHY?)
The biggest surprise was that everyone kind of rallied behind Corinne and ragged on Taylor?

Why is Danielle L. crying about their break-up as if she was one of the final 3 or 4 or heck, even 5?
And then remember how I instagrammed weeks ago about Josephine being SJP on Hocus Pocus?

Well, she must be a reader! And she wanted to give me a gift!

Because she literally took it up 10 notches.

A lot more happened…. but it was just a lot of the girls pointing fingers and talking over one another and blah blah. IS IT OVER YET?! ONE MORE WEEK HALLELUJAH CHEERS PAH-REACH!

:: Vanderpump Rules ::
Thank you to reader Margo for sending me a secret message in instagram that I now know how to find (look at me, learning technology months later!) of the tank tops from the Bachelor/Bachelorette party.

Tom Sandoval’s said “Straight” in quotation marks – that was the one I couldn’t remember and could not believe I was seeing. I mean…. Tom….. every week you add something to the list……

Kristin having an emotional support dog is a perfect example of me being so annoyed at airports with all of the dogs that do not need to be on airplanes. and I’m a dog person. but the therapy dog thing is out of control. I have a lot more to rant about on the subject, but I’ll give you a small gift and stop my personal rant there.

Lisa is very hesitant to officiate the ceremony for Tom and Katie. I can’t imagine why, especially after this interesting way of asking her

…. but the other options are limited. As Schwartz so eloquently states ” having Jax officiate would be like Lucifer performing a baptism.”

I thought Stassi’s date was adorable, nice, seemed smart and hard working, and picked a great restaurant for date #1. How does he not even deserve a date #2?! LA girls – snatch him up!!!

The things being said between Katie and Tom about their marriage two weeks before their wedding (and everything said this whole season) are totally normal and not concerning in the least.
Tom: “In the past I’ve always wavered in my confidence about our marriage. But in the past couple days it’s been great!”
Oh! Well there ya go! A couple days! Call Lisa up and let’s get this show on the road.
These photo shoots for SUR are such a crock (this weeks winner of crock of the week!?) and two blatant examples today:
1. Jax says that Stassi and Kristin, from the photo shoot years + years ago, are still on the restaurant website. And I of course then went to the website, and the opening image is in fact an extremely young Kristin and Peter, and an extremely young LVP. Like, these photos must be at least 7 years old at a minimum.
2. Tom Schwartz is in every single one of thes photos at todays shoot, who has never worked at Sur once.

:: RHOBH ::
Unfortunately, I haven’t seen all of this weeks episode yet. The horror!
BUT I did finally get my hands on a gif of the best line from last week.

Brief Commentary while I watch before bed:
Kyle’s hair + outfit for this Fat Jewish party at her store is not her best moment.
I am one of those people that laugh way too hysterically when people fall, and the added sound effects + replay in black and white of Dorit falling out of the car really got me.
Eden’s outfit is worse.
If Kyle isn’t wearing THE AGENCY hat, apparently Mauricio is.
Someone at ALL TIMES promoting THE AGENCY.

:: Summer House ::
The size of the bottle of Rose at this house party is absolutely insane. And watching drunk Kyle pour it down people’s throats -slash- pour it all over their faces is hilarious. #ILoveKyle.
I tried my damndest to find a gif of it…. but these Summer House gifs + pics are hard to come by…….
I am so over Christina with no H and Lindsay. Both of them are equally annoying. Christina with no H is annoying in general as a person, and Lindsay is with everything involving EV-RETT. EV-RETT. For example, her storming out of the restaurant at the end of the last episode screaming at EV-RETT that she was going to go sleep in someones bed, and then starting this weeks episode with her walking back in the restaurant moments later giggling with EV-RETT.

I retract my previous statement of equal annoyance based off of what has transgressed in the last 15 minutes of me typing and watching. Christina with no H announces to the room that she accepted a new job; everyone cheers for her. When EV-RETT says that Lindsay got a new restaurant client on board this week, Christina with no H so painfully awkwardly says “well I ate there and I told him you were my roommate. And I said nice things about you. Still. so. yeah.” WHAT? She says all of it in the same bitchy know-it-all way with angry undertones she has said everything with, and also says it with the stone faced lockjaw of Eden Sassoon. I do really appreciate her facial expressions of disgust though.

Kyle with this 23 year old he met wasted and didn’t remember is hilarious. While nothing seemed alarming at the brunch date, when she shows up at the house for dinner it’s all over. She used up all of her “just try to seem sane” energy at brunch. Luckily he was sober enough to be smart for once and kicked her to the curb. I still hashtag love Kyle.

:: SOUTHERN CHARM ::
The new season does not start until April 3rd, but they replayed the entire last season this week with a new 30 minute special of “How They Got There” and guess what yours truly did? Taped the entire season to re-watch again over the next 3 weeks to really prepare myself. I do it all for you. For Coffee Talk. It’s all research. And I am very excited. I watched the first episode while writing this post, where we are introduced to #HashtagNewCraig at ~~he and Naomi’s house~~ Naomi’s parents beautiful Charleston home where pregnant Kathryn and black-eyed-Thomas pretend they are not having their second child together by blatantly ignoring each other and then arguing about Kenzie’s bedroom being painted ~~purple~~ PERIWINKLE …. because guess who is in a ~~purple~~ PERIWINKLE dress!? That’s right. LANDON. So where did he get ~~purple~~ PERIWINKLE from, because he and his decorator had decided on pink? Oh…. and the whole episode began with the preview of Thomas’ Dinner Party From Hell. I MEAN. The greatness of re-watching a 5 Star Emmy Award Winning (in my mind) show should not be underestimated. Just this ONE episode brought me back so much joy. I can’t wait to treat myself to one episode at a time of this television greatness. I feel like I need to recap the whole episode now….. you know that is me doing a SUPER short summary of all of episode one’s greatness. I am so excited to re-watch things I have already seen, and then I remember there is a new season and I am just overwhelmed with feelings.

and speaking of Ben Affleck exes, Gwyneth continues to give us Ab Envy.
While I definitely will not be participating in some of her vaginal therapies (seriously. placing jade eggs inside and vaginal steaming) or any 8 day goats milk cleanses, I do love her cookbooks and share her love for Tracy Anderson.

Today I wanted to share some of my favorite things from February that I have been wearing repeatedly, so I’ve rounded up a big post of outfits.

I am in love with this Sam Edelman Chain Bag. (more of the outfit to come this week!) I feel like it has the look and feel of the YSL Clutch, but I actually like it even better (and of course the price is 10x better) . The chain can be removed and it can be used as a clutch, and it easily fits all of the essentials for a night out. The color is a beautiful camel brown – it looks slightly different in the photos than it does in person, but it also comes in black and a ton of other colors! AND I found it for 30% OFF on Zappos while it is still full price on all other sites!

I finally found the perfect V-Neck Tee shirt that is insanely flattering and insanely soft. And the price is perfect too. They come in a bunch of different color options. I have the white and grey but will likely get more because it really is the perfect staple. I wear the tee’s with jeans out and about and also at home with these super soft leggings. These are the perfect lounge pants. I loved them so much I got another pair in pink.

My biggest obsession of the month is the dark wash denim in the most recent photos above. I ordered a new pair of Rag + Bone jeans in the Shopbop Sale and I realized that my other pair I always wear must be about 4 years old. They have changed their stretch fabric and it is 10x better than it was before – they are my favorite jeans all over again. They are so much more comfortable, they hold it’s shape and don’t stretch out, and they suck you in perfectly. So glad I finally got a new pair!

Cheers to FRIDAY!!!!!

Kip and I didn’t see each other for over two weeks until he got back in town on Monday, so we are having a date night tonight and I am very excited about it. We usually walk to the Sushi spot down the street, but he made reservations (!!) at a new place (!!) that a co-worker told him about, and added it to our iCalendar while he was away so that it randomly popped up on my phone 🙂

BE STILL MY HEART. Who am I married to!?!? For some of you that may be nothing, but he’s so busy with work and has so much going on that this was a really sweet move in his part. I wonder what else I can get out of him…… flowers? Chick-fil-A waffle fries in bed??

I just stumbled across a random part of my instagram with messages! I had no idea it was there and therefor wasn’t responding to messages from some of you! Sorry! A few messages disappeared when I was responding to another, so once again, sorry for not responding – feel free to reach out again 🙂

I feel like I need to have a new addition to Coffee Talk’s “Jackhole of the Week” and “Mazel of the Week” and call it “Crock of the week” (not to be confused with CRACK of the week, which is delicious food of course). Crock of the Week would refer to the biggest crock of BS that I stumbled across that week on the interwebs. So….. why not! Here we go:

CROCK OF THE WEEK : GEM WATER

I have see this Gem Water on several sites the last two weeks, and I just can’t imagine ever spending almost $80 on a water bottle where you can buy different gem inserts and, as the website says, “hydrate in style: turn ordinary water into extraordinary water”. Ha!!!

but now I just saw they have a decanter with gems for wine….. and perhaps this a crock of sheyite I can get on board with? No…. I jest. but it is cool looking! (I feel like this is going to be in Goop in no time if it hasn’t been already. This is right up Goop’s alley!)

I spent all day yesterday e-mailing with people about how EW and HELL NO and NOT OKAY the Biden-Widow-Brother situation is.

As a Big Bang Theory lover (one of the few mutual shows in this household) I love the cast pulling a Friends and taking paycuts for the other cast members to get paid more.

Why you should strength train BEFORE you do your cardio, and not the other way around.

Last Friday I discussed how I didn’t know that GG was engaged and she had gotten married. I also commented at length that it was likely a horrible idea. Thanks to sweet reader Julia, I have learned that they are already filing for divorce. The ironic thing is, her rep says things came to light that she didn’t know about and made her realize the marriage never should have happened…. which is exactly what I said last week (except I said perhaps HE would realize things about her and change his mind). But most importantly, what happens to that gorgeous ring?

I don’t drink Coffee, but a wine-infused-coffee could be the thing to make it happen.

I wear a thin gold bangle every day, and on the weekends I add one or two more (I’m so wild!). I love this bangle stack from one of my favorite affordable jewelry designers – you can wear one or all of them depending on the look you want. This stack of three is slightly different and beautiful too.

There’s a huge sale on Rory Beca dresses. You can snag everything from a go-to one-shoulder long black dress, this long navy racerback dress to this maxi or this maxi in several different color options down from almost $300 to under $90!

These heels are perfect for summer : stripes + wrap ankle with a bow + a stacked heel for comfort. Also perfectly striped with bows for summer : this itsy bitsy adorable bikini.

(I’m going to the beach in 1 month so I have bikinis on the brain!) A new-to-me bikini brand is Red Carter. I love the “friendship bracelet” detailing on this suit, and their pieces are under $100. The line also carries super cute coverups, and I am in love with their dresses.

Unfortunately/Fortunately, I ordered a pair of my favorite jeans in a new cut + color in the Shopbop sale and they are fab-you-lussssss. I also ordered this grey duster cardigan from the Shopbop sale and am still waiting for it’s arrival. My friend wore these killer jeans in Arizona last weekend I am obsessed. They fit her like a glove and couldn’t have been more flattering. They are a bit of a splurge, but so were my Rag + Bones 2 years ago, and jeans you’ll live in are worth it. they don’t do it justice online – in person is 10x better! This super similar pair has a slightly darker wash so I may try those out too.

The print on these shorts (!!) I am uhb-sessed. and they are on sale!

All of the fun + colorful jewelry I’ve been seeing is getting me very excited for summer. (and everyones been having heat waves so the 80 degree weather helps too!) I love this multistrand necklace in 8 colors and these fun earrings would dress up jeans and a tee or solid maxi in a heartbeat.

The beautiful packaging on these collagen foil face masks makes me think my skin could glow just as much!

I am going on a family vacation abroad with Kip’s family this summer (details to come!) and I think I need sandals like this to handle all the walking. I feel like they are fashionable again (??) and have lots of styles to choose from.

This dress has beautiful scallop detailing and a pefect shape AND is under $100!

Love this striped sweater with lace up detailing for now and for later.

This dress would be great for work, showers, weekends – everything! And the boucle texture on this dress in a similar shape is perfect for current colder days too.

:: GOLNESA FOUND SOMEONE TO MARRY HER? ::

I must be living under a rock, because I had no idea that GG from Shah’s of Sunset was engaged to someone!? And now she is MARRIED?!

She seems….hmmmm how should I nicely phrase this….. like the type of person not to rush into marriage? Or, maybe I should say, in the words of some drunk girl on a reality show that I can’t place right now, like an onion with lots and lots of layers – many complicated – ~~whose partner should realize they are with a truly crazy gir~~l who should take the time to get to know someone extremely well before deciding to marry them.

But get a load of that engagement ring!!!!

:: THE BACHELOR ::

I’m going to make a bold statement by NOT EVEN discussing The Bachelor. It is just not worth it. HA! TAKE THAT BACHELOR NATION. Instead, I am going to show you a snapchat I took Monday night where I realized the filter looks like Corinne. yes…. this was more exciting than watching the actual show. I was coming off a long weekend + day of travel, so perhaps my eyes were deceiving me, but I totally saw Corinne – at least with the messy unkept hair.

and Andi showing up next week….seriously?? insert huge eye roll…. it’s all just so stupid and scripted.

Even The Hills wasn’t this scripted! And at least The Hills was still so amazing from start to finish that we didn’t care what was real or fake!

:: This Is Us ::

I just can’t. If you STILL are not watching this show….. PLEASE. Do yourself a favor. I was begging my girlfriends last weekend to GET ON IT or else I didn’t think we could remain friends.

:: The Goldbergs ::

Speaking of shows I love, but an entirely different kind, I love The Goldbergs more than life itself. Where can I watch from the beginning? I thought it was on Netflix but I didn’t find it. Hook a sister up and let me know because I feel like this weekend I could go for a full on binge watch. Luckily, it definitely is one of those shows you can just watch from any point (which I’ve been doing). The greatest part of the show is that every episode is based entirely on real events from the writers life. At the end of the show, they show a video clip from his real life and the real people that played the role or the real event and it is hilarious or emotional or both. I feel like I didn’t summarize that well at all (shocker), but when the show is over I am even more excited for see last blurb with the real life aspect the episode was based on.. Oh, and I also love when they do a full blown well-placed F-Bomb and blur out their mouths and do a beep. Again, not explaining it well (shocker) but I laugh my head off.

And it must be said, Wendy McCLevon Covey as Beverly is all kinds of perfection. Her hair and outfits are ON. POINT. She was on WWHL with my-boyfriend-andy-cohen this week and said all of her sweaters that her characters wears belong to the real wardrobe of the real Beverly Goldberg. I LOVE IT.

:: THE APPRENTICE ::

I know this is a week late (or two? something inappropriately late) but I forgot to mention that I was very happy for Matt to win over Boy George in the Finale. Carson Kressley did EVERYTHING for Boy George’s finale, and it should have been Carson and Matt in the finale competing never Boy George. Harsh, but true. I mean….. as much as I can’t stand PK (to be read in Dorit’s voice) they really have succeeded in getting him EVERYWHERE lately. And in turn, themselves. Ugh. I was SO glad that Matt won because I have had enough Boy George lately to last me a lifetime. ALSO, I am probably the only person who watched this season of The Apprentice, so moving right along……

:: SOUTHERN CHARM ::

Ladies ~~and Gentlemen~~. Get excited. The previews have started….. April 3rd we will finally see the return of the Charleston cast and I am very, very, VERY excited. Southern Charm is hands down, and I’m sure I say that a lot about other shows, one of the best shows on Bravo. But really. Seriously. Literally. I really mean it. Honestly.

:: SUMMER HOUSE ::

Everett walking in to ~~his ex-girlfriends~~ birthday party brings up many thoughts (such as WTF will the two of you GROW UP you are 30 years old and dating + breaking up as if you are drunken 20 year olds in college) but the main thought is always WHY DOES YOUR FACE LOOK LIKE THAT? Your locked jaw and clenched fist facials make you appear as though A) you ready to kill someone because you are way too intense or B)you thinking you are much hotter than you really are and trying to make a smoldering face. Either way, That’s Enough.

Kyle drunk eating in the kitchen when they get home from the bars is the highlight of every episode for me. Kyle is my spirit animal. Well, except for the hooking up with different girls night after night and all that. But I do think it’s funny that things I would despise in a mate/potential mate I love about him. Him forgetting the name of the girl that just slept in his bed? I would be dying laughing while drinking that Whispering Angel poolside with him. Him completely messing with that young 23 year old nice girls emotions about a relationship? I feel like good for him he was honest and she still is down to hang out so hey why not. But really it’s just the drunk eating and the love of a theme party and a margarita machine that tugs at my heartstrings. I feel a full Kyle post coming when this show is over…. my obsession is growing with every drunk kitchen binge while he mumbles incoherently because of equal parts intoxication and choking on food.

Oh… as far as everyone else. Still don’t understand why Lauren is into Carl AT ALL (especially after the creepily immature rhyme thing he did at the cowboy bar) but at least she stopped being his puppet this week. Also, update : Everett and Lindsay are still together in real life – I heard them this week on Kate Casey’s podcast. And Christina with no H but it stays is really just digging herself a deeper hole week after week with bad mouthing everyone. When boys are calling you out on your drama and BS, you know you’ve reached next level. Next week, we see the Everett + Lindsay relationship take a turn (WHAT?) with a huge fight (THEY FIGHT?) when she learns he lied and woke up the weekend before in a bed with 4 girls. These two…. I mean….

My friend (bless you Marisa!) informed me that Jorge the Bartender has an instagram account. Thank God for Jorge, he’s the only thing I have to focus on to get me through all this Bachelor nonsense until Bachelor In Paradise time. This also got me thinking….. since the Bachelor just REFUSES to get a new guy, who is attractive, employed, and not a man whore to be the Bachelor, why don’t we compromise with JORGE!!!??

I hope you all had a great weekend, and that you hopefully are getting an extra day off today!

I am heading home from a great girls weekend in Scottsdale – I’ll share more from the trip this week! For today, I thought we could gear up for hometowns on The Bachelor tonight with a little Bachelor gossip. And I have a roundup of sales for today too!

We discussed in Coffee Talk a few weeks ago that no one is who they say they are on The Bachelor. There seem to be career misconceptions constantly revealed, and I mean more than the seemingly obvious one of Corinne saying she runs a multi-million dollar business. That Liz girl that had already slept with Nick was a “Doula” on the show, and then she is my bottle service girl in Last Vegas at The Foundation Room? Vanessa is a special needs teacher that we know has lots of experience in front of the camera acting and doing hosting roles for Canadian television shows. Us Weekly had also spilled the beans that Taylor, the mental health counselor who loved discussing emotional intellignce (DRINK!) was also a swimsuit model. In fairness, a million of them were/are aspiring models who listed other careers, but I just don’t feel like listing all of them. At least the aspiring dolphin trainer is honest about her career (or lack thereof).

Corinne, the one with a platinum vagine accused of lacking emotional intelligence, has also been in a rap music video and a mascara commercial?

I mean….. really? A rap video with 2 Chainz? It looks like she has her problem with falling asleep during this video the same way she does on the show.

Well, now I just read about Danielle. Danielle is the neo-natal nurse that got sent packing last week. And she is in Jake Owens music video?

and THEN, she is ALSO is Cole Swindell’s music video. So are you an aspiring model/actress, or a neonatal nurse?

I know people are capable of having more than one job… I just find it interesting that there is ALWAYS an acting or modeling background and it seems to me that when there is, the person is just on the show to get some fame and attention out of it. But hey, whatdoIknow?

Anyways, tonight is hometowns, and I don’t like to read any spoilers – but apparently something with Raven’s hometown is getting some media attention, so we should pay attention during that one!
