I always loved those Gap commercials. So catchy.
Here are some of my favorites in a color I can’t get enough of lately : YELLOW.

You may be staring at that photo thinking all you see is wine and nothing fitness related. But it’s in there!
I have been wanting a fitness tracker of some sort for a long, long time. But I never liked the look of any of them. Not in the slightest. Even the most fashionable ones I had seen, where you could buy a designer bracelet wrap or put it in a pendant….. they all still LOOKED like a fitbit. If it isn’t something I’d want to wear when dressed up to go out at night, it never seemed like it was worth it because I would just be taking it on and off constantly (and more likely just forgetting to ever put it back on!)
When I came across Kate Spade’s line of fitness trackers I was so, so excited. I posted about them a few weeks ago in one of my Wishlist Wednesday posts because I couldn’t believe how adorable they were. More importantly, I couldn’t believe they were fitness trackers! Because they don’t look like it at all!

My mom surprised me with the Scallop Trim Tracker and I have loved it ever since.
It fits perfectly on my wrist – it doesn’t clank around and go up and down like so many bangles do; It matches the gold bracelet I wear every day and never take off; It is so comfortable I can’t even feel it; and most importantly, it’s cute!
// SCALLOP TRIM TRACKER //
I get complements on it all the time and no one can tell it’s a fitness tracker.
AND I NEVER have to charge it.
The battery will last me for months!!
All you have to do is download the Kate Spade app and you are all set! It tracks your steps and also tracks your sleep. (You can also take selfies and control your music through the bracelet, but I have yet to use either of those functions)
Plus you get can set other personal goals in the app if you want – like track how much water you have drank. You can have it countdown to personal milestones and celebrations as well!
It alerts you with light notifications. All you have to do is tap it with your finger and it will blink a certain number of times depending on the number of steps taken. It’s that simple. It really has been so motivating and pushes me to reach my 10,000 step goal.
I really can’t recommend it enough if you have been hunting for a fitness tracker, but think they are all pretty ugly like I did 🙂
But my favorite thing – it looks just as cute with real clothes as it does with gym clothes!
and most importantly: it balances perfectly with a wine glass! not sure if the lifting of the wine glass counts as a step, but I’ll lie and say it does!
Bangle on one hand, wine in the other!
if only it could distract from my horrid roots, which praise lord are being highlighted today!
I wore this outfit for the Kansas game Saturday but my blue tank wasn’t as lucky as I had hoped. This is that tank that comes in a million colors and I wear constantly – I keep stocking up on more colors and each one is on repeat!

One more favorite find that is fitness related!
These hair ties are. the. best.
I do not have to tighten my ponytail one time during any workout. I was at my Blast class (which is like a Shred415/Orange Theory-ish kind of class) and between running on treadmill and doing tons of burpees and other things, my hair never budged once. It was amazing. They also are super gentle on hair and slide out easily without pulling any hair out.

I know it seems silly to be this excited about a hair tie, but if you work out, you will swear by these as well. Thank you to the reader who commented about how incredible they were and that they were worth it 100%!
Do any of you have fitness trackers that you love?
Or any other health gadgets that you swear by?
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend!
We are heading to the beach in 10 days!
I am tagging along on my sister’s family vacation. I volunteered myself as Nanny + Aunt T Extraordinaire because, well, obviously. I requested the days off and booked a plane ticket faster than I could hit “season pass” on my DVR for a new Bravo Show.
But one thing that won’t be seeing the sunshine: my face.
I swore off the sun after last summer….. more to come on that soon when I discuss my newfound #Hashtag This Is 30 and I am Destined to Be Pale As Hell Forever mindset and my acceptance of having melasma. I know it’s for the best. (sigh). But really, someone ship me a truckload of self tanner, stat!
So, sun hats are my new jam. When we were at the beach for Christmas my face didn’t see the light of day. Not once. SPF 50-80 at all times with huge sunglasses and this big ‘ol monogrammed number. Now that I know I will be wearing these hats on the regular, I decided I should snag another one for trips and summertime.
// SANDALS // VACAY SUNHAT // SUNGLASSES //
the sandals I posted about last week arrived, and I am in love!
they are under $50 and so comfy!
I have always admired the adorable hats by this designer but the pricetag was never. gonna. happen. Even if I could afford it, hell to the no to spending that kind of dough on a freaking hat.
So I have rounded up a huge compilation of adorable hats with amazing price tags!
Starting with the most inexpensive, these three are all under $15 !
HELLO BOYS // SEQUIN FRUIT // ALOHA BEACHES
all under $15 !
LA VIE EN ROSE under $100
BON VOYAGE under $100
POMPOM HAT under $100
TASSEL BACKPACK HAT
I love that this hat has removable pom strands so you can wear it as a backpack! Too funny.
And in case you want something a little more classic
the oversized floppy hat is my favorite of the bunch
BLACK BOW HAT // ZIG ZAG under $50 // RAINBOW under $100
SUPER FLOPPY under $100 // COLOR BLOCKED under $15 // BACK BLACK BOW under $50
And this last option, while a little more money, is packable and can be squished up without losing it’s shape, and comes in 5 colors
// PACKABLE SQUISHY HAT //
I love my $12 sunnies pictured in the first image, and I have been finding some really amazing inexpensive sunglasses lately. I love the cat eye style, and both of the pairs below are only $12 (they look similar but are slightly different!)
ONE // TWO
Yesterday’s 80+ degree temps got me all ready to sweat it out on the beach!
Today I am sharing a couple of my favorite “steals” for the week, starting with my favorite sweater coat/cardigan, just in time for all of the snow and cold that some of you are having! Then I’ll share some more warm weather sandals since I am eager for the 70’s to come back ASAP.
This cardigan is so, so soft – not one ounce of itch – and will be perfect to throw on over a tee or tank for daytime, or over a silk top with heels and use it as a jacket at night. It has a nice thick weight that makes it look and feel much more expensive than it is.
// TEXTURED SWEATER COAT //
I also love this similar option that is also on sale for under $50 and comes in 3 colors
ONE // TWO // THREE // FOUR on super sale, only $32
I am so in love with all of the colorful sandals that have come in style. They are so fun and the perfect way to add personality to a simple outfit. I know I’ll be living in them this summer.
I love all three of these steal versions . I actually have the third pair (they are under $30!), but haven’t cut the tags off because I’m waiting to see if I like the first pair even better.
STEALS : ONE under $50 // TWO // THREE under $30
I love the simplicity of the leather slip on sandals and how many color combos can be available.
// SPLURGE SANDAL //
Another style I am loving for spring and summer is the mule. I love anything comfortable to walk in! Here are two pairs for under $100. My sister got this first pair when we were in Las Vegas and walking a ton and she said they are super, super comfortable.
Another style that is popular for spring is the O ring bags. Here a few inexpensive finds!
FOLD OVER SUEDE // TAN MARKET BAG
BLACK BUCKET BAG // TAN LEATHER CONVERTIBLE CROSSBODY
Today I have some green finds that you can wear next Friday for your St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations!!
I have this split back tank in red and black an I love it (and the under $15 price!) You can still wear your regular bra with it an it shows the perfect little amount of skin. The green would be so cute for St. Paddy’s Day!
// WORKOUT TANK // WORKOUT LEGGINGS //
// EYELET TRIM TANK // under $15
// COLD SHOULDER RUFFLE TOP //
I have these jeans and they are so comfortable, plus they are under $35!!
// CHATEAU PARKA W REMOVABLE FUR //
Today I am sharing the rest of the outfit with my favorite clutch from Monday’s post! This long vest was one of my finds at Zara and I have been wearing it for date night and girls night out ever since. It is so comfortable and has the perfect drape front (you know how obsessed I’ve been lately with long drape front vests/sweaters/jackets/cardigans!) You can cinch the waist as much or as little as you like so it gives a great shape and a defined waist.
ZARA NAVY WAISTCOAT // JEANS // TOP(BLACK VERSION) (SIMILAR IN WHITE) // PURSE/CLUTCH // SHOES (SIMILAR) // SUNGLASSES // BRACELET/FITBIT (discussing more next week!)
I know I talked a little bit about the jeans in Tuesday’s post, but they are incredible. The stretch really holds its shape and sucks everything in, and I love that they took out the front pockets because my older pair of Rag + Bones I realized I fix the front pockets constantly.
A few other drape front vests catching my eye. My favorites are the first and last one below!
a few more options : striped vest // colorblocked vest // linen and 60% off
and some designer options I love (especially the draped grey!) DRAPED GREY // LONG JACQUARD // LACE BACK
I had several readers e-mail me with requests for similar jackets to my anorak jacket that I’ve had forever and wear frequently, so I rounded up a bunch of budget friendly options below!
Three options under $50 : ONE several color options, and on sale! // TWO // THREE on sale!
ONE // TWO // THREE on sale! // FOUR on sale!
and I also found a few vest versions to combine the draped vest + green anorak :
ONE // TWO // THREE // FOUR
