sorry for being away for so long.

not gonna lie…. it was nice to have a break though 🙂

here are a few of the things I’ve been up to lately:

not all from instagram i swear….

lots of quality time with my puppy-niece

cubbies games for a friday-funday

finally made it to ravinia and had the best time ever

animal awareness day pubcrawl

aka – dress like idiots as an excuse to drink day

and celebrated this zilla’s 28th birthday with friends.

I now have no voice. It had been shaky on Thursday and Friday, and by about 10 pm on Saturday I knew it was going to be a doozy. I spent all yesterday not speaking. I would text Kip because it hurt so bad to try. I never realized how much I talk…. and people look at you funny. I was in the grocery store and not being able to say “Excuse me” {or worse… when I tried and it came out horribly and the guy stared at me like I was freak} really makes you feel like a freak.

I found out that It’s a boy for my sister and brother-in-law!

I NEED TO GET THESE FOR THEM.

For the 900th Sunday in a row, I told myself I would upload my photos to Facebook. And for the 900th time, it overwhelmed and I didn’t. I haven’t uploaded anything since March – not even pictures from our engagement weekend.

Then I discussed through multiple text messages what stamp to put on the save the date’s for the wedding. The stationary lady sent three in her e-mail that my mom and I instantly were in mutual hatred over. I mean….. I was having strong feelings about a freaking stamp???

Like…. as I’m sitting and doing this, I’m thinking Who the hell are you? This is pathetic. I was saying things like I think that looks cleaner. It’s a damn stamp. What has my life come to?

maybe I should go back to blog silence, because even I don’t want to hear what I have to say.

oh! and I can’t say it anyway! work today is going to be GREAT.

I feel like overall my answer is always Miley, but my God if they showed Taylor acting like a 12 year old one more damn time (especially during Justin Timberlake, the only reason we were all watching) I was going to lose it.

I think I had nightmares about both last night.

Let’s start with THE most important news in the history of the world.

‘N SYNC is rumored to reunite at the VMA’s this weekend….

If this happens, I will go certifiably insane. I have always said I would camp out on the street for days for tickets to a reunion concert if they ever have one, and this would be the closest thing yet!

I need to pull out my ‘N SYNC t-shirt I slept in ~~until last year~~ for far too long and put it on for good luck.

In more shocking news…. he is 41?

that’s ALMOST as shocking as Revenge boy Nolan being 41.

The news about Gia from The Bachelor + Bachelor Pad’s suicide is so horrible. But worse, I feel, is all of the sad stories constantly on the internet. People has articles titled

“Gia Allemand’s Boyfriend tells her ‘I don’t love you anymore.”

Leave her family and him alone. Publishing articles basically blaming the suicide on him? Awful and disgusting beyond words. I really don’t understand how it is legal or why, but the releasing of the 911 phone calls is also so disturbing to me. And this week there was another actor that committed suicide. So, so sad.

Okay…. now to lighten things up:

THE HOFF.

People are stealing life size cut-outs of David Hasselhoff from convenience stores.

As in, hundreds of cutouts have been stolen, and the store is constantly ordering more.

Hahaha. I love it.

but this is the best season of big brother EVER.

Week after week I am wondering who is going to go home and if they’ll be back-doored and when everyone is going to turn on each other. This was the week to back-door Amanda…. there aren’t many people left and they are going to have to start turning on each other soon.
