they come in a gorgeous emerald green too.
I feel like some people really care about their wedding shoes, but I couldn’t care less. I just want something comfortable and easy.
I wish those trashy platform sandals we use to wear back in the day were still in style and wedding appropriate…. they were ugly as hell, but damn were they comfortable!

My shoes were a metallic pewter. I got that color thinking it was a neutral and I'd wear them again. They didn't even make it past the ceremony they were so uncomfortable! They were expensive shoes they should of been more comfortable! Needless to say I haven't worn them since!
Hi Tay! Fun to see you last weekend and I couldn't agree with you more, shoes are not my thing. On my wedding day I want to wear something that is pretty but comfortable – the last thing I want to think about on the big day is my feet hurting!

i wore a great pair of sling backs from JCrew that looked more expensive than they were. You could see them when I walked down from the altar but that is about it (other than when the photographer took some still shots of them). We had a band from New Orleans come up to DC for the wedding so I knew I would be dancing all night so I got a pair of sandals with a chunky heel. No one could see them under my dress and my feet thanked me for it. 🙂

I designed my own wedding shoes on Milk & Honey Shoes website! Our wedding is all outside in Janaury (in florida) and I really wanted a fun peep-toe wedge with an ankle strap. Of course, I couldn't find anything. I found Milk & Honey Shoes website through the Style Me Pretty blog and designed about 10 pairs of shoes on the first day. I ordered a black & white striped wedge with a peep-toe and ankle strap and was so impressed with the quality! It only takes about 6-8 weeks from start to finish and they were less than the shoes listed above! Definitely something I'll wear again 🙂 I love my shoes and they are super comfortable (as wedges tend to be). So happy I went this route!

I think Kanye should go play in traffic…and yes, it's kind of hilarious that he proposed to Kim on a baseball field (random!)….she may have gotten a 15 carat diamond, but she has to be married to Kanye…gross.

For our wedding, I work the Kate Spade Karolina pumps in the multi-glitter. I already had that style in black and nude, so I knew they were comfortable. I wore them for the first look, ceremony, and photos. When we got to the reception I put on sandals, and then put my heels back on when I changed into my short dress. It's fun having a special pair of shoes that are fun and perfect for other occasions besides our wedding because it's fun to get to put them back on!
I wore blush pink flats #1 so I'd be comfortable #2 because the ceremony & reception were outside and #3 my husband is short. 🙂 My something blue was a patch with my monogram and wedding date..and baby blue panties. 🙂

i was super nervous about wedding shoes because i needed a little height and wanted to wear heels but didn't want to be uncomfortable all day but also didn't want the awkward short kitten heels. i ended up choosing a pair from dsw that were pretty darn comfortable and looked like badgley mishkas for a fraction of the price.

I wore the most plain ass comfortable shoes I could find. Ivory silk Calvin Klein pumps. Best decision ever.
I cannot believe that I know so much about Kimye's engagement. I really wish I didn't. Ugh They are so annoying. I would just love if you wore some platform Mia's!! Ugh Amazing. I wore some super high heels and then my planner somehow talked me into not bringing a comfy backup but a pair at the exact same height. I don't now how she convinced me that that was a good idea.

those heels are gorgeous!! i did peach shoes to match the colors – can't go wrong with badgley mischka 🙂 but i hear you, practically no one saw them and i changed into glitter Toms to dance in!
Hahaha I totally agree about the scoreboard proposal- awful. no matter what. My dress was ivory lace and I ended up wearing a gold shoe I think. I didn't care about shoes either and I ended up in flip flops by the end of the night
