Chrisley Knows Best on USA
I hadn’t heard of this show at all, but I guess they ran commercials in Atlanta nonstop because it takes place there, and my mom called and had me DVR it before it started last week (airs on Tuesdays…. but please go watch the 3 episodes they’ve aired already because it’s too good).
The show is so freaking funny, and their house is to die for.
Seriously. It’s incredible.
The show centers around the patriarch of the Chrisley Family, who is the most metrosexual straight man I have ever seen in my life with a fabulous southern accent.
Some highlights from this week’s episode:
Todd made his daughter a “titty cake” for the boob job he agreed to get her after her baby.
Annnnnnd he says “blow the nipple” to blow the candles out.

literally the only room they showed anyone hanging out in was the bedroom and the “nook” attached to the bedroom. WTF? I know you all sleep with the same man and laugh about it like its sooooooo funny (it’s not. you’re gross.) but come on, don’t make everyone sit on the used filthy harry mattress and sip pinot grigio!?

I hadn’t commented on Bravo’s new show Southern Charm the last few weeks, so figured I’d finally bring it up.
I don’t really know what I think…..
I feel like they picked some awful people for what could have been an incredible show about Charleston. But I think any southern person with class and money would never agree to this show, so I guess it makes sense they have the cast they do.
What I DO know is that I was obsessed with Cameron when she was on the Real World San Diego.
Remember how when we were younger everyone on the Real World was so cool and so hot and so perfect.
Now, looking back, you realize 98% of the cast, especially the men, are degenerates and douche bags.
But DAMN was it entertaining.
these aren’t my thoughts on Cameron, she is adorable, but generally everyone else. Especially that Vegas cast with that slutty Trishelle.

Chrisley Knows Best is highly entertaining and I'm seriously questioning his wife…I mean they had 5 kids together…he's just so out there!! Southern Charm is hard to watch…and honestly I watch it because Cameron is on the show and seems like the most normal out of the entire cast. RHONYC- LOVE just LOVE…Aviva started out all sweet – but Carol definitely shows she had some backbone. I watch too much TV!

I've been guilty-pleasure watching Southern Charm. Then today two of the guys in my office (in their mid-30s) asked me if I watch it and oh my gosh, my life was made. Because, A. they know what Bravo is, B. they obviously know I watch it, and C. they have better gossip than the websites. Their good friend who lives in Raleigh was the friend that was supposed to go to the polo match with Shep that wasn't able to make it. He said that Kathryn is indeed pregnant – with Thomas' baby, and she's do really really soon! They've met Shep before and he's actually a really cool/funny guy (who has also slept with a lot of those girls before the show even started).
I haven't had a chance to see RHONY this week, but I know it'll be good!
ok ummmmmm what!!?? she is actually pregnant? I figured it was a cheap ploy to get us to keep watching and to add some drama to the TV show (one that worked, damn). Now I am really going to make sure I tune it if it's true! thanks for the insider details…. keep em coming 🙂
Chrisley Knows Best is my guilty pleasure right now. Such a hidden little gem. And Southern Charm is such a let down. I love me some Thomas- the-train-wreck, but the rest of the cast is disappointing for sure.
I finally watched Southern Charm since I figured I might as well see what it's like since I do live in Charleston and yuck! Such a bad show! I agree the casting is bad and nothing really goes on?! It's so dumb I pray it doesn't get picked for a second season or better yet lets not even finish this season! I did watch a clip of Chrisley and it's pretty ridiculous but of course addicting!
I live in Charleston and I am sad to say I know some of those crazies on the show. Ugh. Thomas once tried to pick me up. He was unsuccessful. Thank heavens. I grew up in the same town with Cameron and taught her ballet. What a small, small, small world it is!

Mr. Chrisley plays for both teams….no doubt in my mind. If anyone wants to date Harry, they better have a tetanus shot first. Thomas needs a reality check.
I don't watch the others, although that Chrisley character might lure me in. But…Flipping Out… I am OBSESSED with Jeff Lewis. He is cruel, and mean, and so inappropriate and I truly appreciate it. I'd love to quite my job and try to work for him. I'm sure it would be torture, but really funny torture.
