I’ve really stepped up my skincare these past few weeks and I couldn’t be happier about it.
A silver lining to all of this time at home is taking a little extra time to keep yourself healthy and sane.  Working out in the morning and treating myself to some at pampering at night has made all of the difference for me mentally…. AND is making SUCH a difference in my skin.  Hallelujah!

Although I’ve been eating every dessert under the sun during social distancing (sorry not sorry), my skincare game has never been better.  I do a full routine AM and PM (although I will say my AM routine doesn’t happen until 10 AM but still…. better than nothing.) And at night instead of maybe once a week doing a little Sunday Self Care treat, now I am treating myself to good skin every night and every change I get!  There’s nothing like a little at home spa experience to try to slap yourself back into sanity at a time like this! Trust me…. IT HELPS.

Today I wanted to share a few products I love from Colleen Rothschild.  Some I have used for over a year and others are new favorites of mine.  AND they just so happen to have an amazing sale going on NOW through Friday April 17th!

I fell in love with Colleen Rothschild when I was pregnant with the twins.  I was on bedrest in the hospital for 4 weeks and my skin could not get hydrated enough.  It was soooooo dry that even with a humidifier my face was peeling and the worst it had ever been.  I tried no less than 6 different products to hydrate my skin but the ONLY thing that worked, and worked amazingly after one use, was their Intense Hydrating Mask.  I fell in love with their products and have been hooked ever since.

Okay, before I get to my ride-or-die hydrating mask,
let me tell you about my other obsession I will be forever hooked on.
The Dual Enzyme Polish.

:: Dual Enzyme Polish ::

This immediately became a contender for the #1 spot of my favorite treat for my skin.  Ohhhhh my goodness.  After ONE  use your skin will look like you had a facial.  Truly.  I don’t know how I lived so long without this.  I’ve been exfoliating 1-2x a week to help remove dead skin cells and get my products soaking in well to my skin.  The best thing about this is that it is *gentle* on your skin and also that it does the work for you.  You don’t rub, rub, rub all of your like you would with a body exfoliator in the shower.  You just apply a layer and let it sit and you will immediately feel it start working.

After 10 minutes, you rinse it off and then admire your gorgeous glowy skin in the mirror.
I love it so much I have to remind myself I don’t need to use it more than 1-2x a week (so the jar lasts so, so long!)
No need to feel bad about no appointments at the spa or dermatologist for facials – just get this.  You’ll have dozens of spa experiences in one jar from the comfort of home in your jammies!

:: Radiant Cleansing Balm ::

I had never used a Cleansing Balm prior to using this one from Colleen Rothschild and oh my goodness.  I am a convert. (I already got so many DM’s about how many of you love it when I showed it on my instagram stories, too!) My favorite part of this product is the smell.  It smells like you are sitting in a beautiful spa as you rub the buttery goodness onto your skin….. so just close your eyes for a bit and pretend you aren’t in your bathroom listening to the sounds of your baby monitor praying your twins stay asleep.  It melts away all of your makeup without stripping your skin and is the perfect way to start your skincare routine. ALL of it.  Even my mascara that never, ever wants to come off with other eye-make up removers.

:: Intense Hydrating Mask :: 
Okay, back to my favorite mask.
If you follow me on instagram you’ve definitely seen me to post this in my stories about ten dozen times!You apply a layer of the mask and then can wipe off the excess about 15 minutes later, but I always do it as an overnight treatment.  I apply it after all of my skincare routine is done and sleep it in overnight.  When I wake up my skin is glowy and refreshed.  It is SO hydrating and leaves your skin plumped and silky smooth.
I’ve had no sloughing from using retinol because this combats the dryness that retinol usually creates so well.
This is also *amazing* when traveling.  (when we are able to hop on planes again…..sigh…. ) Apply this for a long flight and your skin will drink it up and you’ll arrive looking glowy and refreshed!)
If you get a sunburn, this is also your best friend. (but hopefully no sunburns! Don’t be like me in my former sunbathing life!)

:: Sheer Renewal Cream :: 
For a lighter weight moisturizer and one that is perfect for summer, I love the sheer renewal cream. It’s a great daytime moisturizer.  Something I’ve learned is that moisture is KEY for helping to keep wrinkles and lines at bay.  Always use a moisturizer!  Easiest step of your day!

:: Complete Eye Cream :: 

Something I wish I had used earlier in life but didn’t start using until this year is an eye cream.  I had always just tried samples of creams that came with other purchases, or would use one but not love it and stop using eye cream entirely.  This eye cream is so hydrating and also wears well under your makeup.

:: Clarifying Detox Mask :: 
A few times a month (or that time of the month) my skin needs an extra boost.  Whether it’s from breakouts or blackheads, I need to do a little detox.  I tend to get blackheads in my t-zone and especially around my nose and chin, and I love a charcoal mask to suck the life out ’em – ya know what I mean!?  I love that this also has Vitamin C for an extra brightening boost that doesn’t leave your skin dry or dull like some masks can do.
