I posted about this new Drunk Elephant product on instagram that I added to my skincare line up and I got so many questions and comments!

I had been debating which Vitamin C serum to get for weeks months, because I hate spending money on products that will break me out or irritate my skin, or that won’t create any results.  There’s really no way to know what to choose and what will work for your skin! And on top of that, what you’ll actually love!
But I had seen people rave and rave about Drunk Elephant and friends that love their products, so after stopping into Sephora to try a couple of products on my skin myself, I decided to go with the Drunk Elephant C Firma Day Serum.

ALSO.  SNS nails are a godsend….. but I digress…… 

Everyone was asking for reviews – but I can’t really give one yet!
I’ve only used it a couple of times!
BUT, I am very happy with my purchase and think I am going to love it.
I read tons of reviews (hashtag this is 30….. debating skincare products for hours on end……ugh……) and people loved it with two negatives that I would come across.
1. It is sticky.
2. It has a smell.
Well, both of those things ARE true. BUT, the stickiness goes away within seconds after you apply it to your face.  My moisturizer and then my makeup go on perfectly right afterwards and nothing feels sticky at all.
And for the smell, yes, it does have a strange smell at first.  Not a good smell, but not a bad smell.  Just a strange smell? But that goes away after a few seconds too! So who cares?

Drunk Elephant is also a brand you can feel good using because they use only all natural non-toxic ingredients.
The C Firma Serum is meant to be applied in the morning, on clean skin, before you apply your make up.  It creates a shield from all of the environmental factors, pollution and free radicals that our skin faces day to day.  (Don’t ask me to explain a free radical……) . It also has a potent dose of Vitamin C to brighten and firm the skin (yes please.) And apparently it stays for 72 hours, and cannot be washed or rubbed off.  How you ask?! I DON’T KNOW! But who cares, sounds good to me!

SO! I’ll update more in a few weeks, but I am loving it so far and feel good about *finally* introducing some Vitamin C into my routine.

I also have another product I added in that I am OBSESSED WITH. This Dr. Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine Oil Moisture Cushion.

I needed a good moisturizer and I am so in love with this that I cannot wait to slather it on my face in the morning and at night.  It feels so rich and luxurious and hydrating but there is NO oily residue.  And NO shiny finish.  I was looking shiny from my drugstore moisturizer and I hated it!
I seriously love it.
I had also debated getting the Drunk Elephant Marula Oil instead of this product, because people are obsessed with it, but thought I’d try a moisturizer instead of an oil for now!

and when I spotted the blue print on this gorgeous white dress
I practically started drooling.

I meannnnn I need it!

For a more affordable option, the dishes will do just fine though!
