I’m about as far from a beauty blogger as it gets.
trust me I can’t believe I’m doing a hair post either….
but perhaps some of you wake up looking as … interesting…. as yours truly….. 
But I definitely have a few go-to items when I need my hair to look it’s best.
…. other than my #1…. DRY SHAMPOO. Obviously.
So today I thought I’d share a few favorites, including my favorite Steal + Splurge Shampoo/Conditioners, Hair Dryer, Styling Tools, etc.

Since getting pregnant + then having the twins my hair has been growing so fast that I’ve gone from highlighting every 10-12 weeks to now needing it AND NEEDING IT BADLY about every 8.

It’s not only growing faster but my natural color has gotten darker since I had the twins.  WOOF.

I hate having to do the extra trips ….. and my wallet hates it more!

but I digress……  my favorite things below :

I got it during Amazon Prime Day after seeing a million people rave about it on instagram.  I do love it. and use it a ton. BUT.  I will say I don’t love it to dry you’re whole head if it’s soaking wet/just out of the shower hair.  I think it would be too damaging?  So I let my hair air dry or get fairly dry before I use it, or I sleep with wet hair and this brings it back to life in 60 seconds flat.  I have crazy curly hair on the underneath part and this somehow magically makes it look like I’ve dried and flat ironed it.

Side note: I don’t understand how all of these bloggers show this dryer and rave about it and there’s like ZERO hair in it.  I wish I could blame postpartum but NOPE.  Am I the only one who has hair all in my brushes and any hair tool I own?!

My favorite blowdryer is one that I used on a girls trip 2.5 years ago and ALL 4 of us went home and immediately bought this hair dryer.  It is powerful and quick.  We all LOVED it, and I still do.

This Beachwaver curling iron I have raved about before – you can style your whole head in 3 minutes flat and its idiot proof for people like me.  The best for waves.  Love the little button to roll the barrel for you if you aren’t great with a curling iron clamp like yours truly.
QVC has a special where you can pick which size barrel and it’s on sale for $129 versus the usual $199.
Also, Bed Bath and Beyond has it for $129 so you could use a 20% off coupon!

I highlight my hair and so I always try to use color specific shampoo’s and conditioner’s.
This Redken Shampoo is amazing and my favorite go-to.  I used the one for damaged hair for about a long time and they also have a color extend. he big bottle lasts FOREVER (maybe because I try not to wash my hair too often? But it really lasts SO long.)

I had heard about the Color Wow line for so long that when it was a Today’s Deal on the Today Show I went for it.  Hoda had raved about this styling spray to help with frizz so I got the bundle of the Shampoo/Conditioner/ and spray 
on crazy sale.
The spray alone is worth trying out.  You only have to use the spray every 3 washes and then blow dry your hair to activate it.
They also sell a travel set of all 3 to try out.
