It was a short week for me because I flew up yesterday to visit my oldest and closest friend and see the new house they just moved in to for the first time! We grew up next door to each other and our families are best friends, but unfortunately she and her husband got transferred to NJ/Philly area right before I moved back home. I’m excited to spend a couple days with her! Her birthday was this week and mine is next week so we’ll have lots of vino to celebrate I’m sure. I come back Saturday to get ready for a busy week before traveling to Miami and then to Scottsdale. I’ve been looking forward to these three weekends for so long and can’t believe they are finally here! The Scottsdale weekend we’ve had booked for so long, like 9 months, that I never thought the day would come! The perks of a traveling husband ~~are the night’s when I get to watch Bravo in peace on the couch and stay up late on my laptop~~ are the free airline miles and getting to see the people I love and don’t live close to! Thank goodness for Southwest and the Companion Pass.

When I saw this navy and red striped tank, I knew immediately it would fit perfectly in my closet of navy and stripes. It is perfect for all of the summer holiday weekends, of course, but it’s also just a great basic to wear with jeans or shorts. The back has an adorable detail with the straps that I love, too.

I TOTALLY forgot to do my Mazel of the Week yesterday – to Ms. Shannon Beador! For her new QVC line of food. I’m happy she has something positive to focus on amongst asshole David’s text tantrum’s.

…… but really….. I can’t get over how big of a dumbass David is for ranting and going nuts via text. Does he not know that every single negative thing he says is being screen shot and permanently saved? And he KEPT doing it after a bunch of his tirades were made public? Seriously….. he’s a moron.
I really do feel awful for their daughters though….. and always did during those awkward family scenes between her and David…. but anyways…. I digress…..

I absolutely LOVE it. I ordered the XS and it fits great, but I am going to order a S too to see if I like the length of the small bit better. I love that you can wear a strapless bra still without it showing while still having a pretty back.
This is definitely one of those tops to have in black and white and even more colors because you can wear it constantly! (I know this about myself because these tops get more wear than anything else in my closet!)
