Friday Randoms
it’s friday…..let’s dance….
The weekend has finally arrived!
We’re going out with our dinner and drinks with our friends that are getting married next weekend tonight – can’t believe Thanksgiving and the wedding are right around the corner!
I mentioned I was making a cake on Monday for our anniversary,
and I think it may be the best cake I have ever made.
seriously. {to my friends, possibly better than my crack cake?!}
Not only is this chocolate fudge peanut butter cake incredible
it is the first cake where I thought I actually made it look
exactly the same as the fabulous food blogger’s photo
alright so maybe not
but let’s pretend because this was my pride and joy for the week 🙂
my pants however…. not as pleased. but worth it.
and since the holiday’s are right around the corner,
we will be setting up all of our christmas decorations.
that’s right.
deal with it.
{the bars on our street started this week, and when classy establishments that make their living on selling booze tell me to do something, I do it!}
a little Frank Sinatra Christmas music and Love Actually may be in the cards.
alright, now I’m off to count the minutes until champagne is popped!
have a great weekend 🙂

Coffee Talk
discuss amongst ya-selves…..
I concur, People. I concur.
there needs to be another magic mike press tour so I can wake up to him on my television every morning.
one of my other favorite men is on the sexy list as well.
and the commercial for his new “kind of sequel” to Knocked Up, This is 40, is at the top of my Christmas movie list.
jennie garth needs to
shut. the eff. up.
you got a divorce and got skinny.
I don’t really understand why this became a gigantic story in the first place, but I really don’t understand why we are still talking about.
You are splitting the holidays with your ex?
WHAAAT?!?! Divorced people split holidays?!?!
watch out RiRi.
you have competition.
hope solo married some athlete guy (I mean really… we don’t care who)
one day after he was arrested with blood on him, hiding in a corner, for allegedly assaulting her.
congratulations hope! best wishes!
congratulations hope! best wishes!
Yolanda as stage mom on Beverly Hills Housewives had me cracking up.
I get giddy when someone says something that I know is going to cause a complete uproar (i.e. most likely in the feminist community or something where you know they are definitely not watching Real Housewives).
Gigi (which…. let’s just take a moment and pause on the chihuahua name for a brief moment…. thank god she’s gorgeous because that could have been really bad).
Anyways, Yolanda did NOT want Gigi’s make up to look Chinese.
{said while there’s a chinese assistant/make-up lady right next to her when she says this. flawless television Bravo once again.}
and of course…. be skinny.
They want you skinny in Paris Gigi!
{cue everyone flipping out in the media….}

uhhmmm….
heidi montag is back.
and as obnoxious as ever.
don’t you just hate when you get caught
posing like that on the beach?
posing like that on the beach?
good lord. this is the only way she can get press apparently.
{side note: my boyfriend has not looked away from some horrible thing on the History channel for over an hour and suddenly his eyes were glued to my computer screen. “Who’s that???” such a pig.}
please don’t let Cheryl Burke be the next Bachelorette.
she is a pain in the ass for some reason.
one of the reasons: she won’t stop talking about how she would LOVE to be the Bachelorette.
I’m so happy Million Dollar Decorators is Back
the phrases and facial expressions are priceless

Wishlist Wednesday: Double Duty Garments
You know how they say the true cost of something
is the price divided by the number of times you wear it?
is the price divided by the number of times you wear it?
Well for these, the cost is already split
because it’s multiple outfits in one!
because it’s multiple outfits in one!
the peplum skirt is removable
so let’s see…. the price, divided by 2 or 3…..
aw crap.
still not gonna happen.

Holiday Gift Guide: Booze Edition
i know, i know
it’s not even thanksgiving yet
but I just can’t help myself.
so we’re going to start a little early this year.
and what better way to start than with the greatest gift of all:
THE GIFT OF BOOZE.
everyone loves booze.
your mom, your brother, your best friend, your boyfriend.
who says no to the gift of booze?
no one I care to know.
show your girlfriends how much you care,
by gifting wine in a box in style.
you’ll feel less guilty drinking the whole bottle
when it’s packaged in a purse
.
franzia doesn’t have shit on this cute cardboard.
why bother going back and forth to the fridge
every 5 minutes time you need a new glass?
just stick a corksicle in it (ha…..k… anyways…)
and your pinot grigio stays chilled for an hour,
without watering down the wine at all
a bracelet that doubles as a flask
of course! every girl’s dream!
this would make tailgating a breeze
because fashion and alcohol cleary go hand in hand…
we learned that with the wine purse already.
and the more you drink the better your outfit looks.
smart move cynthia rowley.
may your holidays be filled with booze 🙂
otherwise it’s just hours of agonizing extended family….
